This Hellboy 3D model was inspired by various designs (mainly combining the more realistic Hellboy designs with the classic Mike Mignola's Hellboy).
For this project, I wanted to try creating an interesting pose for Hellboy. I used Maya to create the base meshes for the bust and the Hellboy's gun and then added fine details using ZBrush. To render the final Image, I wanted to experiment with Arnold's aiStandard material (if you want to learn Arnold I high recommend checking out Arvid Schneider's Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/URsProductions ).
The final image turned out better than I expected! But as always, feedback is always welcome!
